Drive In Racking is one of the most efficient pallet racking systems which provides excellent use for bulk storage and storing items that require minimal stock rotation.
Drive In Racking works on the ‘First in, Last out’ system (FiLo), which means stock is restricted. However, working environments where loads are delivered and dispatched in bulk, Drive In Racking is one of the most efficient storage systems. As the need for operating aisles has significantly dropped, there is a huge increase in overall storage capacity and warehouse space.
Supports are mounted on both sides of the Drive In channels meaning each pallet can slide nicely into position with the use of a fork lift truck. This means that pallets cannot be accessed individually however there are multiple benefits of Drive In Racking. The risk of injury is also very minimal as these special guided trucks are designed to improve safety within the storage system.
